Social media content that actually gets seen

Consistency beats brilliance
One good post a week for a year will do more for you than fourteen brilliant posts in a fortnight followed by silence. Choose a rhythm you can genuinely keep.
The four post types worth rotating
- Useful. Answer a question your customers actually ask.
- Proof. Finished work, before and after, a happy customer in their own words.
- Human. The van, the workshop, the team, the ordinary Tuesday.
- Ask. One clear invitation to enquire, book or buy.
Rotate them. Four types and one post a week gives you a month of content without repeating yourself.
Write for the first line
Almost nobody reads past a weak opening line. Say the useful thing first and save the introduction for people who are already interested.
Batch the boring part
Sit down once a fortnight and produce everything at once. Switching between jobs is what makes content feel exhausting, not the writing itself.
Make it easy to act
Every post needs one obvious next step: phone, message, book, visit. Two calls to action is the same as none.
